Marble Lotus
THE STRATEGY
Marble Lotus is a South Asian-inspired home brand based in San Francisco, CA. Founder Soni Mehra contacted Hannah Lozano Photography looking for e-commerce and lifestyle images for her initial product launch. The pieces are sourced directly from India and are primarily hand-carved and crafted. Soni founded Marble Lotus because she noticed a big gap in the home decor market when it came to South Asian decor. Her culture is important to her and she wanted to create a product line that felt authentic to her while honoring her heritage.
When shooting for Marble Lotus, we were going for a soft, warm, nostalgic feel. We wanted to showcase the products in a way that communicates the combination of modern homes with ancient South Asian tradition and that these two can go hand in hand.
