THE STRATEGY
In November, I flew to Boston to do a brand session for Studio 37. This was an amazing trip for a few reasons:
-
Studio 37 is my virtual assistant and helps me with marketing and content for my brand. Getting to connect and work together in person was just the best.
-
Boston in the fall is literally magic.
-
I got upgraded to first class for free on my flight there.
We shot at the STUNNING Studio B in South Boston and this space did not disappoint. It’s a huge space, fit with a living room, dining room, and gorgeous kitchen. The light is perfect all day long and we were able to create so much content. It’s truly the perfect space for a Boston brand session.
For this brand session, we really wanted to capture a LOT of portraits of Rachel, Studio 37’s founder. When you’re the face of the company, it’s important to let people know. Outsourcing can feel hard for solopreneurs, so getting to know the personality behind the company you’re choosing to outsource tasks to can give you peace of mind.
At the end, we even played around with some flash photography to add a punchy, gen-z style vibe to some of the images. I’m a big fan of the disposable camera look and I feel like this style goes hand in hand with that.
