THE STRATEGY
Emily from Amavi Studio has had a re-brand in the works for some time now, so we started the year off right with fresh brand photos. Amavi Studio is based in Virginia Beach but after finding the perfect studio in Los Angeles, CA, we decided that the west coast was the perfect place for the new brand shoot. The new brand is really leaning into a minimalist luxury vibe and the studio we chose in Downtown LA was exactly the right fit for this project.
Emily really wanted to lean into movement for this shoot, so we played around with more abstract images with motion blur and tighter crops. We also shot with the intention of some black and white editing because it fits the vibe of her new brand so well. I truly could share this entire gallery but I’ve narrowed it down for time’s sake.
