With Halloween just around the corner, we’re so excited to share this chic Halloween party decor inspo as seen on West Elm! We’re loving this elevated approach to one of our favorite holidays.
Jaime Roberts and My Style Vita teamed up to create this super fun and sophisticated party spread fit for any Halloween party! We love the mercury glass elements mixed with the taper candles and various skeletons scattered around the buffet. Use paper elements to create any kind of effect on the wall without damaging paint or adding holes. Fake cobwebs can also be scattered around and draped easily from any surface. We chose to cover the mirror, but you can even make the scene bigger and hang them from the ceiling or other parts of the space. For a quick and inexpensive finishing touch, spray paint eucalyptus stems and put them in a festive jar. You can even mix up the colors based on the season. This adds a pop (or lack there of) of color while creating an interesting texture as well.
To create a spooky cocktail, add activated charcoal and a small amount of dry ice to your favorite drink. Then, sit back and watch it bubble and smoke. It’s best to serve from a beaker or cauldron for the most haunted effect. We created a charcoal lemonade for this party, but you can do this with any beverage, alcoholic or not!
This spread is great for an adults-only party, but can also work well for a kids party, or a mix of both.
The placement of Jessica’s buffet is ideal because guests can easily access the space without creating traffic in the kitchen. We’ve used this space to decorate for other holidays, and each time it looks like a whole new space.
